Metro City is the first release by VANTAGE, published on cassette through the defunct label The NightClub Collection. An extended version of the album (called the Deluxe Edition) featuring remixes and edits was released the following year and published on cassette through the same label.

In 2019, the album was published on cassette and vinyl through Neoncity Records.
