THROUGH THE FOG AND THE DRIFTWOOD is the debut album by §E▲ ▓F D▓G§. It was released in 2014 and was late pressed for cassette on Bedlam Tapes in 2016 in conjunction with the release of Rain Dance. In September of that year, both albums were pressed once again on black cassette alongside every other album released on the label fom October 2016 to 2017 to celebrate the label's second year anniversary. This album is considered one of the first and most essential releases of the oceangrunge genre.
