GET READY FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE

Chesumasuta returns on Asura Revolver with his new album “TOKYO AUDIO 4000” the sequel to his AIR Japan release “TOKYO AUDIO 3000”. Conceived as the final part of the AIR Japan saga, it’s a unificiation of the myriad themes of AIR Japan. Mixing the trap beats from TOKYO AUDIO 3000, the glitchy lo-fi sampling from Enjoy Your Flight, the seamless flow beatmix of Summer of Love, the ice cold mixing of Ghost Dragon.

Stylised as a sound collage trip through Tokyo. The album seamlessly mixes melodies alongside beats as it constantly turns inside and outside, often twisting itself into unexpected beat changes. Using these elements as an conceptual dreamscape taking you far away into the subway’s and even the after hours nightclubs. Crafting an unexpected mix of hypnagogic melodies and clashing trap beats, this would be home alongside his most dreamy or hard hitting releases. TOKYO AUDIO 4000 are sure to please even the most taut of naysayers.

But saying that “All spin-off series have been cancelled. Everything is now Chesumasuta.” putting itself as a new beginning for Chesumasuta while being the final chapter of AIR Japan, and that’s why we are proud to be releasing one of the artist’s most realized albums yet on Asura.
