It is the second release in what were promoted to be the "FINAL CHAPTERS OF INTERNET CLUB" (the first chapter being [[FINAL TEARS]]), released with the intention of transitioning to the artist's Wakesleep alias. This end to the project did not last long however, as several collaborations with [[Daytime Television]] were already in the works when this single was released. Robin would go on to return temporarily, releasing [[ICQ2]] and others the following year before resolving the project again.
