Description

You ride your car under the L subway in Philadelphia, 1 in the morning, listening to 88.5 FM Star's End. It's raining. It's been raining quite a lot, but you make little note of it. The signal is hijacked or cut off. You can't tell which. The radio cuts to noise and then lands on music, distorted, chopped up, and repeating over and over again. You are alone on this distant night, with no one to talk to, nothing to do but listen to this cacaphony, cut off from the rest of the world.

You keep the radio on.
