A Dream is an oddity within Hantasi's catalogue, an artist whose music has been primarily defined by its leftfield nature. Self-described as an "ambient wall", it manages to live up to that name through a combination of sounds employed by both longform ambient and drone, along with aggressively sharp mixing techniques. This combination, which seems as if it is bound to fail from the outside, creates a truly unique and haunting work in A Dream. | |||
