Barber Beats-style releases are directly inspired by the work of haircuts for men, to the point that the style is christened after his nickname "The Barber". Barber Beats albums are usually fully plundered, with sample sources coming largely from trip hop and IDM, and are minimally edited -- if they are edited at all. It is common for albums of this style to become the subject of copyright disputes, moreso than other vaporwave albums.
