Departure (born Steven Bietz; August 17, 2007) is a plunderphonics & hip-hop producer based in Texas. Departure started in the Vaporwave scene as the main runner of the project Chuck Person's Eccojams, Vol. 3 in 2020 via a Reddit post. This project would grow into the soon ill-fated half-collective half-label Ecco Inc., which would be rebranded as the group Sky Nouveau International. The group now makes remix albums of popular Vaporwave releases and is currently working on a remix compilation of [death's dynamic shroud]'s [I'll Try Living Like This].
