An ethereal adventure, based on wonderfully deep explorations from just a few variations of sound. Despite its simple appearance on the outside, 無意識 manages to take a lot of post-production elements that make the more ambient entries into vapor interesting, and combine it with the artist's excellent choice of melodies to create a perfectly hypnotic piece.
Even the titles betray that this album will be used to take its idea to the furthest, laying bare such intentions merely by repeating the same word thrice, though each delve into these sounds is much different than the last. From start to end, the absolute most is extracted from every single note, presented in the interesting ways possible.
As it inches towards the end, the album almost changes from a simple ambient to a more dedicated drone piece, the rhythmic beats provided by the first track being twisted into a nearly ominous tone, drawling until it disappears, leaving the air with only a contemplative silence.
