Plastic Animals, The first album by Downtown Mars Released on July 15th,2021 to Bandcamp and February 9th on Spotify and Youtube Music. The Spotify/Youtube Music Release having less songs than the Bandcamp Release just being a few covers and a song that would be released again on the EP EVP

History

While making this album, this was first a pop punk album with a singer, bassist + synth player, drummer and guitarist and the band was first called The Fourth Humanity. After the singer left the members still left just Decided to try indie pop with a lost album called Beyond Robot and after that they found out was Vaporwave was ( more importantly Synthwave) they wanted to try that for the album for after Beyond Robot. Somehow the album file for Beyond Robot got deleted and then they started work on album they called 9585 Hours, then they called Fourth Humanity then finally Plastic Animals. The album influences are: Tool, Sublime, Cat System Corp., Metallica, Home, The Weeknd, B e g g o t t e n, Windows 96 and, Nine Inch Nails
