Most of the material existed prior to 2018 as demo recordings.  In fact, the last track was recorded in March 2010 as one continuous take with no editing.  Compiling and then re-recording nearly everything, it was made as a "musical calling card" when networking with artists in the scene.  It was also a reaffirmation and return for Derek Power to music-making after a music hiatus.
The cover is a photograph taken by the artist of 200 Clarendon Street in Boston, known colloquially as the "John Hancock Tower" and was the earliest of the "glass and steel" building designs.
