Description
VHS MIDNIGHT STYLE
Bit of an oddity in the catalog, dark ambient that rewards the patient and offers some very tasty textures.
The photo was taken in February of 2016 and everywhere was completely thick with fog, even persisting into the night. I was walking around and this drone loop entered my mind and would not escape. As soon as I got home I opened FL Studio and to the best of my ability transferred that loop to audio as best as I could. That idea would evolve to become "consumer", the opening track to LOST SOCIETY.
Every time I listen I am immediately taken back to the day I took that photo and immersed in a completely different time and place.

Cold and unforgiving, winter has been a constant in our lives. We wish it wasn't here, but it happens. We can't stop it. All the radiators in the world couldn't warm winter by one degree.
We all know people like winter. Won't change, aren't pleasant. We do all we can but they're a lost cause. They've been consumed by the cold that surrounds them.
