Description
I found myself staring off at the lake by my house a few times. Every time I came back I questioned whether or not I was a better person than the last time I visited. But I never really came to a conclusion. Its really hard to tell sometimes if you are on the right path or if you are just wasting your time. But I do know that I love music. If gives me air. It gives me light. It gives me life. I put my all into every project I put out. As a musician I have this underlying doubt that always finds its way to the surface every time I release music. Am I good enough yet? Will people actually like this? Am I as good as my peers? Questions that over time I honestly stopped caring about. Good music is subjective to the listener. I've learned that over time. At this point all I care about is bettering myself for my family and so I can actually be proud to say that I deserve to be on top. Believe me, this is far from my absolute best. I know theres some untapped potential in myself, as do we all believe that there is a higher calling for ourselves. I feel like I'm just ranting at this point but I guess the point that I'm trying to get at is....Never stop believing in yourself. You'd be surprise who actually enjoys what you do. As corny as it sounds...the only thing to fear is fear itself. If you do not fear being judged. What can cause you harm? You're the only person stopping yourself from becoming who you want to be. Nobody else. "You Just Gotta Believe!"
