1. through hidden backstreets and echoing streets, the true nature of the new york underground is revealed. a lone pedestrian is making their way through the night.

3. footage of Time Square. it's the usual nightlife. there's never downtime downtown.

4. "Available now! The latest season of luxury fashion for all of you ladies out there... This piece was designed by none other than..."

5. only person i have in my life any longer is myself.

6. driving down the highway, i decide to tune in to the local weather station.
it's going to rain later.

7. hurrying through the shortcut via the backstreets, i make my way back to my apartment.

8. coming back home to my apartment, illuminated only by the city lights outside, i notice a message has been left for me.
...
it's the bad news...
i gotta go. and quickly.

9. if she's still out there somewhere, i have to find her. this is my only chance.

Having returned to Shatterfoil under multiple aliases due to their notable productivity and exceptional variety throughout the years, ChillBitz is back once more with yet another album as skyglow. Released originally on NetCentury during its run, TYNASA explores its ideas using a combination of the theming of Late Nights, a more honed approach to its sampling in a similar style, and a throughly sculpted take on its atmosphere as practiced in the artist's work as the silent city.

Dense, melancholy jazz and a more focused dive with added percussion lead from intro to main piece in the two sections of 'through the echoing streets of new york,' showing both sides to the album's sound throughout its run. Many tracks have a distinctly subdued mood, alluring yet hidden behind a layer of effects that subtly muffle their detail to the listening ear.

Their presence, or curtailing of, gives more power to the points of the album where its energy kicks in more. The clearness and cuts of 'noir dress' and the energy drawn out from 'missing you' are boosted by this approach, making them standout moments within the album by little other than the design of the work surrounding them. The usage of tracks like these to prop up the ones surrounding themselves show one of the greatest advancements in the artist's career, making TYNASA an unmissable album.
