Matheus Felipe (born Matheus Felipe Santana dos Santos; May 14, 2004) is a Brazilian vaporwave artist. He is most infamous for being exposed for being a sexual predator and a pedophile, and was formerly a member of the collective Sky Nouveau International before his departure in July 2021.
Since his exposure, he has seen many waves of scrutiny from the Vaporwave community and has attempted multiple times to regain his past recognition and reputation, all of which have failed. His unveiling of predatory behavior directly led to the fall of the old Vapourrealm Live livestreams hosted by Myke420247 on YouTube, whom despite complaints from multiple community members, refused to acknowledge Matheus' presence as a bad person and continued to let Matheus on his livestreams.
In terms of music, Matheus is known for very short breaks in-between releases, with as of 2022 roughly 135 albums produced in the 6 years Matheus has been involved in the vaporwave community. He is known for commonly stealing or borrowing concepts from artists b e g o t t e n 自杀, Vektroid and chris††† as well as rushing albums extremely quickly.
