Un sonido que baila entre el sintetizador saturado, influenciado por los '80 y el chillwave actual; entre el sampleo grotesco, modificado, sucio y malévolo más proveniente del vaporwave/seapunk: eso es "Echo", que parece hacerle bastante honor a su nombre.

Los '80 resuenan, como eco, pero en ese resonar no están los mismos '80, las perspectivas pueden cambiar y las interpretaciones y elaboraciones posteriores sobre ellos son dispares. Eso es lo que plantea el músico argentino Bbrainz, oriundo de la provincia Neuquén, quien ha llevado una meteórica carrera de discos, EPs y lanzamientos tanto autoeditados como lanzados en conjunto al sello Fortune500.

Re-elaboremos de manera distinta, pensemos lo que nos ha pasado, en un tape donde el ritmo lento invita a detenernos un poco. La no-linealidad, estocastismo y hasta epilepsia en la secuencia sonora de "Echo" juega como llamado de atención en un mundo donde producción y sampleo se ven, coquetean, se besan y se pierden entre las matas.

A sound that dances between the saturated synthesizer, influenced by the '80s and the current chillwave; between the grotesque, modified, dirty and malevolent sampling more coming from vaporwave/seapunk: that is "Echo", which seems to do quite honor to its name.

The '80s resonate, like an echo, but in that resonation there are not the same '80s, the perspectives can change and the interpretations and later elaborations on them are disparate. That is what the Argentine musician Bbrainz, from the province of Neuquén, proposes, who has had a meteoric career of albums, EPs and releases both self-published and released in conjunction with the Fortune500 label.

Let's re-work it in a different way, let's think about what has happened to us, in a tape where the slow rhythm invites us to stop a little. The non-linearity, stochasticism and even epilepsy in the sound sequence of "Echo" serve as a wake-up call in a world where production and sampling meet, flirt, kiss and get lost in the bushes.
