computer slime is an anonymous vaporwave artist known for their influence in the creation of the early vaporwave scene, especially through releases on BEER ON THE RUG. They began posting their music to their blog in early 2011, inspired by their friend 骨架的. They continued to upload music until 2013, after which they unexpectedly went silent and deleted many of their accounts. In 2018, they returned from their hiatus; releasing music in the footwork genre under all their previous aliases as well as reuploading their past releases. As of 2020, the artist has deleted or deactivated every single remaining page.
