Vektroid (otherwise known as Ramona Langley, formerly Ramona Xavier) is an electronic music producer and graphic designer, best known for her core contributions to the creation of the vaporwave genre. Her musical projects date back to 2004, but her first contributions to the style that is now vaporwave date back to 2011 (2010 if counting Telnet Erotika.) Works by Vektroid are known for being releases under a multitude of aliases for separate styles. These are also contained in her own imprint "PrismCorp" to support the works being in a single timeline or universe of sorts.
(Non-vaporwave projects by Vektroid are not covered on this page.)

Project List
Vektroid
Vektroid is the primary alias of Ramona, also considered the eldest of the names during the dawn of vaporwave. This name is used for a variety of sounds, from longform ambient to experimental sampling projects to detailed original music. Curiously, Ramona has modified her current releases as "dstnt" to now be under the Vektroid name, indicating the former alias's retirement.
Vektroid handles two personal imprints/brands as well: PrismCorp and Chronos & Vermillion (the former used primarily for her music and the latter used primarily for fashion and related projects regarding Ramona's works).

Laserdisc Visions
The first vaporwave alias of Vektroid, Laserdisc Visions (also stylized as LASERDISC VISIONS outside of Vektroid's personal uploads) is a single-release project revolving around manipulation of video game soundtracks, all directly extracted from disc images of Japanese games from the Sega Saturn video game console. Laserdisc Visions' album New Dreams Ltd. was the first in a series of albums of the same name.

fuji grid tv
As another more casual project of Vektroid's, fuji grid tv was an additional single-release project based entirely in sampling 80s-era Japanese commercials. This can be considered the first major "broken transmission" (later referred to as "signalwave") release in the history of vaporwave. The alias's sole release was later remade entirely in 2016 as Fuji Grid TV EX.

New Dreams Ltd.
New Dreams Ltd. is a series of albums by Vektroid, doubling as a straight up alias in later years. Albums in the series are often considered Vektroid’s most recognized project sonically. The series main theme seems to be telling of a corporate capitalist dystopia, with themes of mind control, virtual simulations and body transmigration.

esc 不在
esc 不在 (esc absence) is another more mysterious alias of Vektroid, publishing two releases on the same day and then ceasing activity. These releases were more new-age and high-fidelity in comparison to previous sampling projects by Vektroid (similar to Laserdisc Visions). Some tracks from this alias would appear in a remastered state on the album Initiation Tape: Isle of Avalon Edition.

Macintosh Plus
Seemingly Vektroid's most infamous alias in the vaporwave scene, Macintosh Plus is another single-release project responsible for Floral Shoppe, an album considered definitive to the vaporwave genre by most. As of 2019, Vektroid herself started to officially extended and "reclaim" the alias beyond its debut album, though previously multiple others have attempted to take on the name, either in cheap parody or actual attempts at forgery.

情報デスクVIRTUAL
情報デスクVIRTUAL (Information desk VIRTUAL) is one of Vektroid's most vaporwave-resembling aliases in presentation, being her first use of Japanese text in both an album name and tracklist. The music itself is meant to resemble an uncanny, simulation-like environment that would affect the genre's direction as a whole.

Sacred Tapestry
Similar to previous Vektroid aliases, Sacred Tapestry is a primarily one-release project made as a part of the New Dreams Ltd. universe. One release was made under this name, which was later remade four years later, similar to multiple other Vektroid releases. Sacred Tapestry is known for its complex mixture of original production and sampling, a concept that would inspire the evolution of vaporwave years later.

PrismCorp Virtual Enterprises
PrismCorp Virtual Enterprises is a Vektroid project that influenced and reflected the concepts of vaporwave significantly through a distinct MIDI sound and sterile, corporate environment. Like other aliases, the name was used once in a two-release burst, the albums later rereleased with extended tracklists.

Peace Forever Eternal
Peace Forever Eternal is an alias of Vektroid considered to be a continuation of the New Dreams Ltd. project. In comparison to 2011 releases in the NDL continuity, Peace Forever Eternal is much more plunderphonic in nature, focusing on creating new sounds through emotionally ambiguous looping and layering.
In a local Portland newspaper article in October 2018, it was announced that she would be screening a "video mixtape" (titled "Peace Forever Eternal Vol. 1") under the alias following a live DJ set. However, this was not actually premiered or released anywhere until it was shown during a collaborative New Years stream on December 31, 2020. It still has yet to be officially released.
