no lives matter is the fourth album released by chris††† and published for cassette and CD through Bedlam Tapes. In 2019, the album received a deluxe edition, including no lives matter bside.

chris††† talked about the album title, stating: "i did not mean to reference the 'black lives matter' movement, but more so that of the 'edgy emo kid' sort of 'no lives matter'. this album is a deeply personal album, digging into a part of my life where i did not know how to deal with everything that was happening to me, and i hope that the title alone does not steer people away. but i guess i should have just named it something else if i wanted that."^[1]

chris††† compared the album to new wounds, calling it an "upgrade".^[2]
