Description

Midnight.

Beeping noise. Someone arrived at the TKX Vault entrance.

I don't know how they found me here...

Dripping shadows through the tall trees. The storm raged outside.

The door opened...

A slow waterfall of cigarette smoke poured upwards from beneath a metallic-black umbrella.

I greeted the stranger and offered him fresh coffee. No reply. Maybe he hates coffee?

He handed me a data stick.

I asked who he was...

"I am the void," he replied.

I could feel the ice as cold as a distant planet. My fire kept him away.

Then he left. I did not see his face.
