Melting Reality is a compilation released and published by Acid Medical. The release became unavailable after the closure of the label on February 21, 2018. A release on CD was planned, but scrapped; it would later surface as a privately-distributed bootleg under the DATALOG label in September 2018, with many tracks removed.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the compilation and its short period of availability, many of its tracks would be repurposed by its contributing artists.
- Escher would later appear as track 5 on Glass Double's 2018 album Corona.
- Interloper would later appear as track 6 on Animalman's 2018 album a.m upon its reissue on aurawire.
- No More Pages would later be released as a single on 218 in May 2018.
- The Earth Is Covered In Blood appeared on the album Charming Devil prior to the compilation's release.
